Stretch Marks Reduction
Stretch marks are the marks which occur on the middle layer of the skin. Our skin has three layers the epidermis, or outer layer i.e. the dermis, middle layer i.e. the subcutaneous stratum, and the deepest layer. When the skin is constantly stretched, it becomes less elastic and connective fibers break which results in stretch marks. The color of stretch marks depends on the nature color of the skin. Stretch marks can occur anywhere on the body where the skin has been stretched. The most common areas where they appear are the abdomen, breasts, upper arms, thighs and buttocks.
Stretch marks are usually easier to treat. They are typically diagnosed based on an examination of your skin and a review of your medical history. If your doctor suspects an increase in your cortisol production, he or she may recommend additional tests.
